The first P.U. coated Blanket Probe has
been delivered and bench tested. Remaining steps are to complete the
Power Supply enclosure, replace the top Blanket Probe interface box
with a smaller variety, build the exciter coil cable assemblies and
field test. The APMC software also needs better interface (or custom
program for blanket probe, with better filters for colour map
display).
We have one BP in stock for
testing, one being potted and two more to be potted after
the potting process has been tweaked a little.
Estimated date for customer
deliveries to start: September 01.
Thanks to Ed Reid for an excellent research project and
Swapmil for his valuable assistance. Also thanks to Lily for
assembling all the solid state sensors on the flexible
circuit boards (256 micro chips per board!).
