Electromagnetic Acoustic Thickness Gauge A1270

General Information
The A1270 electromagnetic acoustic thickness gauge is designed for thickness measurements of objects from aluminium and alloy without using any couplants. This thickness gauge has great scope for applications in aerospace industry.

The A1270 EMA thickness gauge is designed for use with single crystal shear wave EMA probe produced by "Acoustic Control Systems" Ltd. The measurement is given in mm with occurence of +/- 0.01mm.

The readings can be saved in nonvolatile memory and then reviewed on the device's display. All the saved data can be transmitted to a PC via USB Port for further documentation, processing and printing.

The graphic and text information is shown on the LCD display that has backlight for working in dark places. To operate the device there is a waterproof, soft keyboard. For connection of EMA probes LEMO plugs and connectors of 0B series are used.  The structure of the device is made accordingly to the IP65 specification.
