The MX-1 is our most basic
model. This gauge can be pre-programmed for a specific material
type using a simple PC program. The MX-1 is an excellent choice
for users that measure the same material type all the time, and
do not have the need to re-calibrate to different materials on
the fly. Note: The material velocity must be known prior to
programming. |

The MAX,
Ultrasonic Stress Meter, measures the actual clamp load
produced by tightening a threaded fastener. The MAX can
measure this load, or the resulting fastener elongation,
very accurately in fasteners of virtually any material from
1/2 inch to 20 feet in length. The measurement is achieved
by determining the change in the transit time, of an
ultrasonic shock wave along the length of the fastener as
the fastener is tightened by any method.. |

The PX series are packaged in an
aluminum extruded body, with
nickel plated aluminum end caps. The PX series gauges are
typically used for thin material applications. This gauge
has the ability to calibrate to a variety of different
materials using a one point calibration option. |
